  1. Look for an arrow at the card's front.
  2. Inspect the card's back for a black (sometimes brown, silver, or gold) magnetic stripe. If both are present, it's a
  magnetic stripe card.
  
  If the card surface is blank with no visible features - even if an arrow is present on the front - then you're handling a
  RFID card.
