After different forms of packaging, different kinds of RFID tags can be made. Inlay can be understood as semi-finished products without encapsulation of RFID tags.

Component

The RFID inlay comprises two pivotal components. At its core is an integrated circuit or microchip that securely stores personal identifying information. How It Works

The data stored within the microchip seamlessly transfers to the RFID tag's antenna. Types

RFID inlays are ingeniously classified into 'wet' or 'dry' categories. A 'wet' inlay features an adhesive layer applied to the inlay, allowing it to adhere firmly to a pressure-sensitive liner that constitutes the label. Conversely, a 'dry' inlay omits the adhesive, relying instead on direct attachment to the label.
